Bay Area food and culture lovers are invited to enjoy the tastes, sounds and sights of Bali at the beautiful Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley with panoramic view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay,
Please join Gadung Kasturi for a special Benefit Dinner and Concert featuring Balinese chef, Kompiang Metri Davies, will prepare a full traditional meal with savory appetizers and a heavenly dessert, sampling dishes from her home village of Ngis in eastern Bali. Many of these dishes and flavors cannot be found anywhere in the Bay Area, and incorporate herbs spices, and condiments brought in from Bali as well as locally sourced natural ingredients.
With guest artists: Shoko Yamamuro and Nina Herlina.
This event will benefit Gadung Kasturi Balinese Dance and Music, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization working to preserve and develop the traditional arts of Bali. A raffle and silent auction will be held. The no host bar and music begin at 5::30pm when the doors open, dinner starts at 6:00 pm, and the dance performance starts at 7:30 pm
